小さなころ、よく母の運転する車の後部座席で
お人形のふりをしていた。
ひっくり返って、足を投げ出し、揺られるままに。
「通り過ぎていく人が人形だと間違えてくれないだろうか」
そう願いながら。
かわいいブローチを見つけたときもそう思った。
「私が人形ならこのまま頭にブローチを留めてしまえるのに」
残念ながら私は人間で、ひっくり返って見せていた靴下は汚れていたし
ブローチピンを頭に刺すのは痛くて無理だった。
人形は痛くない。
拐されても、ピンを刺されても、汚されても、傷つきはしない。
いや、傷ついても気にしない。
求められるがままに、求められたままを差し出す。
その存在が恐ろしく、愛おしい。
欲求が満たされれば人形は放り出される。
放り出されるまでが、人形なのじゃないかな、と思う。

人形に衝撃を受ける。
短大卒業後エコール・ド・シモンにて四谷シモンに師事
高校在学中から人形を独学で制作
近年、金継ぎ作品も制作

フジテレビドラマ「銀河の一票」人形制作
As a child, I used to sit in the back seat of the car my mother drove.
I pretended to be a doll.
I would flip over, throw my legs out, and let myself be rocked.
I wondered if passersby would mistake me for a doll.
I hoped so.
That's what I thought when I found a cute brooch.
If I were a doll, I could just clip the brooch to my head like this."
Unfortunately, I am human, and the socks I was showing you by turning them upside down were dirty.
It was too painful to stick the brooch pin in my head.
Dolls do not feel pain.
They can be kidnapped, pinned, defiled, but they don't hurt.
No, they don't care if they get hurt.
It offers itself as it is asked to be asked, as it is required to be asked to do.
Its existence is terrifying and lovely.
When the desire is satisfied, the doll is thrown out.
I think that until it is thrown out, it is a doll.

While in high school, encountered a large-scale solo exhibition of Simon Yotsuya in Oita.
She was shocked by his dolls.
After graduating from junior college, studied under Simon Yotsuya at Ecole de Simon.
Taught himself to make dolls while still in high school
My name means "near future.
Beyond the lonely night, one step further into the future. Toward tomorrow.
